Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Gigxomi, we strive to ensure every connection between our clients and our creative talent (Video Editors, Graphic Designers, and UGC Creators) results in high-quality work. However, given the digital nature of our services and the time investment required by our freelancers, we enforce the following strict refund and cancellation policy.
1. General Refund Policy
Due to the custom nature of creative work (video editing, designing, and content creation), we do not offer refunds once a project has commenced. “Commencement” is defined as the moment the freelancer accepts the order and begins the creative process or receives the necessary raw files/assets from the client.
2. The “Provider Switch” Guarantee (Resolution Mechanism)
We understand that creative alignment can sometimes be difficult. If you are not satisfied with the quality of work or the style of your assigned freelancer, Gigxomi offers a specific resolution path:
- One-Time Replacement: Instead of a monetary refund, we offer the flexibility to change your Service Provider one (1) time per order.
- We will assign a new Video Editor, Designer, or Creator to your project to ensure your vision is met.
- To trigger this, you must report the issue to our support team before the final files are approved.
3. Cancellation & Processing Fees
In the rare event that a monetary refund is approved (e.g., if a cancellation occurs before work has started, or under special circumstances determined by Gigxomi administration), the following deduction applies:
- 10% Deduction: A flat 10% fee will be deducted from the total refund amount.
- Reason: This fee covers non-refundable Payment Gateway charges (e.g., transaction fees) and Platform Administration costs incurred during the booking process.
- The remaining 90% will be credited back to your original payment method within 5-7 business days.
4. Non-Refundable Scenarios
Refunds will not be granted in the following situations:
- Change of Mind: You decided you no longer need the video/design after the work has started.
- Subjective Taste: You simply “don’t like” the style, despite the freelancer following your provided instructions (in this case, please use the Provider Switch option).
- Lack of Communication: The project is delayed because you (the client) failed to provide necessary assets or feedback in a timely manner.
